Workshop Summary: 

Treat yourself to a fun and personalized class experience that will make hosting a party for a crowd all the more enjoyable. Claire Sax will bring her experience in the culinary arts and her love of local products to bring the flavor of Highland County to your next event. She not only relishes sharing her love for cooking, but also gives you and your guests a class experience that is free from intimidation.  

Claire's class begins with learning a tried & true method for deviled eggs and ends with bruschetta that's both savory and sweet! Discover ways to prepare delicious appetizers with ingredients raised or grown in Highland County. Using trout, pork, eggs, and garlic scapes amaze your guests with these new recipes. Participants in the workshop will make the appetizers and share the results along with the recipes to take home.

About Claire Sax

Claire Sax formed her Catering LLC/ Claire's Cake Co. in 2018 to fill a void in the baking and catering industry in Highland and surrounding counties. Claire credits her father for her love of food, affection for asian cuisine, and enthusiasm for trying fun recipes. Having prepared food for groups as small as 4 to events that served over 500, Claire brings with her the ability to customize menus for events of any size. Claire recently expanded her business to include breakfast & lunch at Claire's Cakes & Cafe on Main Street. You can usually find Claire in the kitchen baking up a storm, playing the piano, reading a romance novel or spending time with her family.
